Dang! I'm having pregnancy brain....... It was a site giving them away for free n u just pay shipping. Hopefully someone will remember.............. I love the picture !
Sevenslings.com right now is having a special pick one and at check out use offer code:WTE you will only pay shipping! I've never used this kind but for such a great deal I figured its worth a shot
Seven slings are awesome. Just choose your size carefully because that style of sling isn't adjustable.
Moby wraps are fabulous for newborns, though! They are a little complicated to get the hang of the first few times but they are so snuggly and comfy for new babies! Just Google "Moby Wrap."
I got mine last week, I ordered the black one, shipping took about 5 days. I googled it before I ordered to see if it was a scam. The "scam" is basically, they always cost $12, but people don't realize it, so they buy them because they are "free". But mine arrived and seems nice...obviously I haven't used it yet, lol.
@laura536 okay that makes sense. I love the black one or the purple one. Is the black one really pretty in person or sorta ugly? How would a newborn fit do u think?
It looks pretty to me. Its solid black with a crisp white pattern. I picked black because it will match everything I wear. Last time, I used a front pack carrier, so I don't know a lot about slings. It will work for sure once the baby is bigger and can sit in it, I'm not sure about the newborn carry.
With my daughter, I bought an infantino front pack from kmart. It cost $15, but that was 5 years ago. My daughter loved it and I carried her everywhere in it, but once she got heavier, the straps hurt my shoulders.
I want a moby wrap they are a little pricy but u can carry baby so many different ways with it even a hand free nursing also up to 35 lbs. Its good on your back its not like a pack the has straps over part of your shoulder but uses your entre back ald full shoulders evenly
I just feel comfortable with something that has a seat for baby lol. The Mont wrap does look good. I had a pack carrier for my first but I never used it
u should be careful with the slings and wraps because there have been cases of suffocation my Mom stopped me when i was looking at them way back in the beggining. the best way to go is the baby bjorn carrier thing that they sit in its like a front facing back pack. and u dont have to get that bjorn brand cuz its expensive, they have a ton at burlington u could look at, or any kind of discount store like that.
i am also looking for a carrier and ill be gettin the pack one too if u think about it, the slings do seem like they could smother the baby or maybe bend their necks in a bad way and the mother might not realize could u imagine? Omg i couldn't. that's so horrible ok i have to stop thinking about it! lol
@babyboyontheway yea I was looking at a sling tonight at target and I can't imagine putting amirah in it. If I have to learn how to use it then in my eyes it can't be safe. Its just cloth. Lol I can make one out of a blanket. I just wanted a carrier for around the house so she can be with me. But like I said I had one with the first and never used it
