Sneezing & stomach pains

On a good note happy 19 wks to me!

Ive been sneezing & after my stomach tightens and aches for a bit...anyone else? Should I be worried?

& yes I am only seeking advice I know preglys are not doctors....just clarifying

    It sounds like your having a braxton hick afterward. I was having them when I coughed before.

    I'm not that far along but I sneeze a lot and also have stuffy nose constantly. I am six weeks amd my right side has been hurting for a day I hope its not serious but I hope your ok too. I don't know if that is even advice cause I prob know less about pregnancy than you. Congrats on 19 weeks. Maybe you should call doc office and talk to someone. Don't wait. Good luck!

    When I sneeze I get a pain on my sides so if am standing I just crouch down a little so the pain Dosent happen happens if I cough to, but the pain Dosent stay after just while I sneeze or cough

    Round ligament pain. I get it even if I hold my belly.

    It sounds to me like round ligament pain. if that'd what it is, its completely normal. This happens to me every so often, also after sneezing. My pregnancy book says its common. Just the ligaments around your uterus stretching and growing.

    I used to hold my sneezes in a little and I would get sharp pains....now I just let them out full force! That has helped me.

    Its the wonderful rou d ligament pain, it happens to me all the time. I have c-section scars and I know it feels like its the scar. So asked the doc and she said its normal, just to round my back and "shorten" my tummy so it doesn't make them stretch so much during the sneeze. It helps, but it still hurts. No fun w/ my allergies flaring up! Hope it helps you some.

    When you think your going to sneeze or cough kinda bend over. I do that and i never get pain,

    It's normal! It happens because your muscles are stretching so it makes it sore when you sneeze or cough.

    @Mybabe round liganment pain is the streching of the ligaments that run down the sides of your belly. If you have it it feels like a sharp stabbing pain, mostly from movement, and things such as sneezing and coughing.

    Thank you. I sneeze like twenty times in shower its bizarre. But I always bend over. I'm glad its normal cause it does just feel like something is stretched and a bit sore. Thanks so much again I'm new to this application

    Thanks it helpd me to with baby number three. It hurts when i go for a walk sometimes too n midwife said its ok n i should feel more wear n tear cos this is my third pregnancy. :) x

    @lilbun915 I have the same thing and that is what dr told me! I was getting them throwing up and now sneezing and coughing.

    Its normal! I sneeze every single day since being ptegnany (also normal) and allergies don't help. But for a few months when I would sneeze, it felt like my ovaries were being pulled.. I would just apply pressure and 'massage' aftereard.

    Hi hun ive got it too,feels like stabing pain. Just make sure yr stomach its not stretched and then it doesnt hurt.

    I just called my doc last week for what this sounds like. They told me round ligament pain. It was verrryyyy painful.

    the only thing that hurts when I sneeze is my low back/hips sometimes.
