Lack of communication grinds my gears!!!

So I submitted my FMLA to my drs office last week and it was due to my HR 05/02/2011 which was yesterday. I called HR today and they said the did NOT recieve it. so I call my DR and had to leave a Vmail this morning...she just called back and said she has not filled it out because there is a $25.00 fee for all FMLA paper work to be filled out and that she had not filled it out because she was awaiting the payment......the $25 fee is not the problem the problem is you did NOT contact me to tell me there was a fee and sat on it for a week and now it may be denied for the time I needed it to cover!! how rude!! now my FMLA may be denied due to lack of communication and it burns me!!!!

I feel ya!! I handed my fmla paperwork to the doc receptionist, 10 days before the due date. paid the $10(for me)
And it was late as well.. Grrr. I did get accepted tho. Just the day I called in sic wasn't covered so I took a point for it.
