Disappearing twin?

I went to the doctors today for my first appt and they did a ultrasound...baby is measuring a week later than I thought and there is a yoke sac inside of the placenta...anyone had this happen before? The doctor is having me come back in a few weeks for another ultrasound but that is crazy how she thinks there might have been a twin :/

Btw google scared me when I looked it up!
