Sonogram in the THIRD trimester??

Im 35w & 4d due june 4th. I asked my doctor for one last sono since i havent gotten one since january and i dont know how much my son weights but she said NO. They only do it if they feel something is wrong...so with that being said do you think ill be wrong if i told her i was having severe pains just to get a sono?

    i dont think they'll give u a sonogram.. they'll probably tell you its braxton hicks or something! haha.. just tell your dr that its YOUR baby, & you want to see how he's doing... they cant tell you no... all you have to do is tell them that you want one & that ur not taking no for an answer lol! there is nothing wrong with getting a u/s in the 3rd trimester.. its perfectly fine & since you havent had one since january.. just tell them you want one..     Maybe you can find a tech school that needs women in different stages of pregnancy to train their students. Free sono,pictures,get to see your baby, and youre helping someone learn. :)

    Yes but my hubby dnt wanna see the baby in 3d he wants to be surprise in the delivery room with whom features he will have

    I am surprised that your doctor isn't doing one at 36 weeks to check your uterus and cervix. And to also check the fluid around the baby.

    @hurstk28 a lot of places only do 2 first tri and second unless they think something is wrong

    My drs only going to do one if we cant tellshe has turned head down yet im 31 weeks

    Well ill be 36weeks sat & my appt is monday where she will check my cervix...my baby head is still down he tickles my vajayjay all the time down there lol smh
