I hate my doctor !!

Well im 35 weeks pregnant with my second and I seriously hate my doctor !! I used him for my last baby and had no problems.. And this time I had no problems until a couple months ago. Im expecting a big baby and that mixed with unknown reasons ive gained alot of weight. I understand this can be a problem and my dr has to bring it up but the last several appointments all that hes done is lecture me and tell me to stazny away from food and that I need to stop being lazy !! I think thats really unproffessional and on top of that he doesnt tell meanything about my baby !! I dont know how much he weighs, if ive dilated at all, if everything is going good. All he does is talk about my weight and leaves. Am I being sensitive or is this just BS ?!?!

    I feel the same, I actually see midwifes, but due to my gestational diabetes I have to see the dr too. I am 38 weeks and my baby weighs about 9 lbs right now, all he does is tell me all the bad things that can happen with a big baby during delivery, but yep cant induce til 39 weeks! I pray to God he's not on call when I deliver!!!

    My doctor is doing her residency, I really like her, so every once in awhile you meet like one of the three head doctors. Well like 3 appointments ago I finally met the lastmain doctor and he was like which pregnancy is this, its my 4th had 2 kids 1 miscarriage than he asks about what I plan for birth control and than if I thought about getting tubes tied....I'm 25 and acting like I'm a dog...grr

    Yeah all my doctor does is tell me all the bad side effects of gaining too much weight.. but at the same time ive had a completely healthy and uncomplicated pregnancy.. And the babies on my boyfriends side of the family have never been under 9lbs.. I wish I had changed doctors months ago but with only a few weeks left I doubt I could even find another dr in time.

    @ mommabee13 when I was pregnant with my 2 yr old I asked the dr to write me a script for tylenol, he told me you can get if over the counter. I told him if I had a script insurance would pay for it. He told me if you cant afford tylenol how are you going to afford a baby. Then asked me what birth control I planned to use after she was born. I told him condoms cause I was going to breastfeed. He said oh so your just gonna have another one right away! Like it was his say!

    @ammasmama some doctors need a groin shot, I asked for a prenatal prescription so my insurance would pay because Dr originally told ne to get women's aday prenatal vitamins, so I understand! And money is tight, making sure to cut costs when u can(like the prescription) let's us afford our babies! Sheesh
