Fetal fibronectin...anyone else have this test?

Well I had some cramping, pretty regularly last weekend, mentioned it to my OB so she took a swab to see if i am at risk to go into preterm labor...I never heard of this test! Anyone else had this done? I am 30 weeks....delivered last two early... All I know is my back and cramps are still hurting.

I had this test yesterday.. (Im 30 weeks too) I tested negative.. thank God!

I thought the test determines if you would deliver early ANYTIME during your pregnancy ... Apparently its only to determine UP TO the next two weeks then you need to check again.

But what an amazing test tho... technology and medicine has really changed since my last child 7 years ago.

Ugh my doc does these tests then will call you with a voicemail...i haven't heard back (went Tuesday).

Yeah i read more online, i think just cuz i was crampy on saturday for like 10 minute intervals. Maybe my fall the week before had something to do with it I am hurting more today, so i wish they'd call! Baby #4....so its scary! I had my last 6 years ago, and yeah i was like wow thats awesome!

I had braxton Hicks for hours. So they did this test. Its just a simple thing but very cool. I started contracting @ 33 weeks they hurt but haven't stopped imnow 38 weeks. (Still contracting)

Oh wow, it makes me feel better that its common. I don't remember this with the other kids...heck I don't remember my last pregnancies apparently, cuz this one has been exhausting!
