Hey ladies I'm due november 4th, had the prescreening my odds for downs went up so I'm nervous, having amnio on the 25th of this month. Its my third baby but my bf first so I feel bad that all of this is happening. Just looking for some ladies to talk to

I'm also due the 4th...was the 7th, but my Dr changed it. I have the blood test for downs on the 25th. Don't worry, everything will be ok!

Hey blooize! I don't know a lot about this testing. I'm due Nov. 11th but my doc has not mentioned any of this testing?? Is it routine and when is it typically done? Praying for you and a safe & healthy little babe

Thanks! I'm considered anvanced maternal age bc I'm 35....I said yes to the screening cuz it gave me an extra ultrasound, never in a million years did I think id get a call saying my odds went from 1/400 to 1/140. Kinda puts life inperspective really quickly

I'm due the 4th as well...and 34 so probably will have those tests done as well :-S

They usually do the tests between 11 and 13 weeks so probably not. U should have already had it done if ur doc thought ur risk was greater. That one year makes a difference lol

Its elective testing not mandatory but like I said I figured it was an extra picture and never anticipated actually getting negative news. But like the doc I work for said put 140 people in a room and one will have a downs baby, odds r still good that the baby is fine, that's what I'm holding onto
