finding out gender in a week @13weeks!yay!

Did my bloodwork today for genetic testing and gender testing..doctor said its 99% accurate...how many of you all found out your babys sex through bloodwork? And were your results right?

my doc wudnt do it ):
so I had to wait til I was 18wks..
I'm 20w+2
goodluckk,they said bloodwrk is always accurate bcuz they chek the hormone levels in yur blood..
if its incorrect its due to inaccuaracy of "counting" on docs behalf/wat I heard at least!

Yea i didnt know either but they asked us when we were doing the bloodwork. she asked if we wanted to find out the gender and we were like sure how much does it cost and she said nothing its something they just do with the parents consent....whew! i thought i was going to have to wait another 6-8 weeks....

@new_mommy9_21 awww:( that sucks! Well mine was done through the place that does the ultrasounds which is seperate from my obgyns office..yea she said its pretty accurate more so than an ultrasound so well see! So what are you having?

ohhh! see we dnt hav ultrasound places nor studios around here tht any1 knew of ): yur lucky to find out so soon!! I'm hav a girl :X
