  • I have it to my dr said everyone almost gets it like once in their life just chance you might have it during the end of your pregnancy! No big deal as long as they.catch it.they just give you meds during labor!
  • It's more common in pregnancy and they will give antibiotics during labor for it.
  • I had it when i was preg with my daughter. They gave me antibiotics during labor. Its no big deal if treated.

  • The antibiotics get rid of it
  • Well according to alot if these sites they are saying its no cure and idk what to think
  • They give u antibiotics when u go into labor its no biggie just make sure they know... if I'm not mistaken this is the bacteria that comes from ur butt
  • my doctor said almost everyone has that! she even said my husband could have it! its super common! i find out on the 16th if i have it if i do im not to worried abot it!
  • What is group b strep. Silly question lol
  • Group B strep is a disease that they say is most common in prego women which it is an infection that affects either the intestines, vagina, or rectum that if not treat can be passed down to your newborn baby...
  • I had it with my first n she had some complications n had to stay in the nicu for a week, so there after with every delivery I'm suppose to inform the hospital staff so they can give me antibiotics .... It's really no biggie. Sometimes women can test negative then it will come during delivery
  • It is a harmless bacteria that 30-50% of women carry in their bodies. The reason why they test for it is because if it is passed to baby during delivery it can cause serious complications after the baby is born. But if the correct precautions are taken and antibiotics are given during labor (1bag every 4 hours) the chances you will pass it to your baby are VERY slim hun. Its nothing to worry yourself over, I promise. I had it with my first so regardless of the results this time around I will be requesting the medication just for a precaution :) No worries hun, I promise.
