Burning nipples...second guessing breastfeeding

Today was a little chilly. When I walked outside my nipples got so hard that they began to hurt horribly. It was a burning pain that I've never experienced before. It made me think that if this is anything like the pain they say you experience breastfeeding then I don't think its for me.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'm trying to stay positive. I'm just learning that breastfeeding is not as cut and dry as I thought.

I wont sugarcoat it, it is hard, but so much easier and better for baby. Don't let that discourage you.

When baby doesnt latch on correctly. N it tingles at first. Trust me if it hurt I wouldn't have breasfed for a yr n two months

i could only breast feed for like 2 weeks! it was so painful i had dried cracked n bleeding nippies!! im hoping i can with this baby though i did with my first not my 2nd but im hoping i can with my 3rd.
