Older mommies...

I am 36 yrs old...i have a 15 year old daughter and 10 year old son from my 1st marriage. I got divorced after 15 years of marriage.
I have dated a wonderful man,he is 37,that has never had children. We just found out last week that i am pregnant and starting into my 7th week. Due Oct 6th. He is ecstatic. His first child. I am happy but freaking out!! I am so afraid of something being wrong with the baby because of our ages. Any older mommies out there with same fears????

    Bloody hell, I thought I was reading my own storey lol. I'm 36 but will be 37 when button arrives. My daughter is 14 soon to turn 15 and my other daughter is 10 nearly 11. I'm due 6th or 7th October and panicking at everything lol. Where you from? X x

    Ah I'm UK. I had my first.midwife appt today and she said it was normal to worry but I'm not that old as women are having children into their forties now safely. I think.just try and relax as what will be will be x x

    No worries. Here anytime for you. Just out of curiosity have you had your hcg level done. Mine came back at 2337 today and I was wandering what someone else's due the same time would be x

    I had a blood test done but wasnt told what HCG levels were..
