@tiff86124 you are right... I had this with my 2nd son. He was born at 34 weeks and was the size of a 29 week gestation. Just wondering if anyone else had this. The thing that caused mine is I have a heart shaped uterus... And depending on where the placenta places itself can cause that. I'm a little nervous that this pregnancy will be the same way.
When I waspreggerz with my daughter she was measurins a few weeks behind and they thought I might have been iugr and I had to see the specialist several times. I was induced and gave birth to a 6pd 3oz baby which is a great weight for being early. Ultrasound and stomach measuring aren't always a great indicator. Except she ended up not gaining more than a pound for afew months ofher life but for a total different reason she has laryngomalacia. Basically all her calorie expenditure went to just trying to breath so it was hrd for her to gain... good luck
I had an ultrasound in Jan '09 and another a month later and he had only grew a couple days since the last. My Dr had scheduled for me to see a specialist but my baby's heart rate was dropping really bad so I had an emergency c-section.
