so who lives in vegas??

My bf/bd bought us tickets to Vegas for the end of the month. My mothers day present :) anyway I was wondering what are some fun things to do besides gamble while we are there. Also he booked the rooms at the Rio?! Is it nice how far from everything? Sorry never been to Vegas.

    the Rio is off the strip...not to far....but far enough lol..I think they may have a shuttle that will take you to the stip tho.. I always enjoy going to the Bellagio art museum, and seeing the flower display there as well! OO and if you want to see a show..the Cirque Du Sole Show 'O' and the 'Love' Show are FABULOUS!! Two of my favorite shows in Vegas. I also enjoy the Blue Man group. There is also the Titanic artifact showing at the Luxor is pretty cool..they even have a HUGE iceburg there that you cal touch!

    OO and you HAVE to see the Neon Museum! Make sure you make a tour reservation ahead of time tho...they only take so many people each day and it books weeks in advance!

    I actually have never seen Terry Fator but thats because ventriloquist dummies MAJORLY creep me out lol

    There is a great Tapas place on Fremont street downtown..its in the Plaza hotel and its called Firefly. It overlooks the old strip..the hotel is kinda a dump but the food at the restaurant is super yummy! They have bacon wrapped dates there that are sooo yummy! OO and there is a place called the Pink Taco at the Hardrock hotel that has pretty yummy tacos! Oo and Hash House A Go-Go in the Imperial has great breakfast!

    Blue Man Group, Stomp, and Cirque Du Soleil (forgot which one) are pretty good shows.
    Rio is a pretty nice all-suite hotel.

    The venetian has the wax museum and gondola rides which is romantic...all the cirque de sole shows are good and the blue man that one is funny :) when are you planning on coming down here??

    @ashley_smashley i have heard about that pink taco but never knew where it was at. So its inside the Hard Rock i def have to try it out

    O ya I totally forgot the wax museum! LoL..there is actually a lot to do on the stip that isnt gambling!

    @grissy_barria ya its in the Hard Rock...which is off the strip..and its kinda hidden in there..it took us forever to find it lol...but when you walk in its to your right and around the corner near the bathrooms...There isnt a good sign

    @ashley_smashley yeah my dad always stays at the Hard Rock but idk why i never noticed that place..I always have guests come inside my store talking about that place and I always wondered if that was here lol and @kello29 hopefully the weather isnt as weird as it has been lately lol its sooo dry here

    @grossly_barria I am ready for some dry weather... I live in north dakota, 2 weekends ago we had a blizzard and lost all power in out town for 4 days.. now its been raining for 3 days... this weather is odd
