Where in the Midwest are you??? I'm I'm Los Angeles, in the San Fernando Valley but we'll prob move to Orange County or the South Bay soon. Ernie is melting un the valley heat! I'm quite cozy though
I'm not even telling people what I'm naming my son. He's going to be named Achilles Caramon and I can tell that will bring a s#itstorm of other people's negativity. I'm also getting crap about my weight gain (I'm 22 weeks and I've gained about 20 pounds) and how much my belly is showing. Wtf. I think that people forget what pregnant women look like.
I've been using toner at least once a day to dry out my greasy skin. It seems to work pretty well for me
@Lilbun915 I totally feel you. People should keep their mouths shut. It's not their baby and really, why do people care so much? My family was giving me a hard time because my husband is Muslim and we decided a long time ago to give our kids Muslim names (these names are beautiful, old and have great meaning). We chose Jamila for a girl and Zayn for a boy (nothing hard to pronounce) and they are just so rude about it sometimes. I guess if I picked Bob or Lisa it would be OK. Whatever.

I'm just waiting for it to get nice enough to spend some time in the sun and pool, chlorine usually does the trick haha. @booface, I grew up in Chicago so I thought I'd be used to it but once you go Cali I don't think you can ever really go back. I'm back in Chicago now, the city is the best, I have a tattoo of the outline of the state of illinois with little heart where Chicago is on my back but really that's the only enjoyable part, the city! Cubbie baseball, Bulls Basketball (- bc the united center is air conditioned like WHOA and DRose is actually the father of my child haha), great food, and hoards of people at the "beaches" in the summer Thats what evens out the 9 months of cold, snow and rain and the 2 months of unbearable heat, that and the one month of decent weather. Ps. Is Ernie your MIL? Your sense of humor really reminds me of my own btw!
Lucile is a nice name (I love I Love Lucy so maybe I am biased ).
My husband and I won't tell anyone the our baby girl's name. His aunt gave us a hard time. Some part of a gift she's planning uses the name. I told her the baby won't care if her name is on it-nicely. After a while she let it go.
Awee...Chicago isn't bad! We're planning a trip out there to visit hubby's BFF I thought you were somewhere in the middle of Kansas with your closest neighbor being a mile down the road! LOL! Ernie and I want to retire out of state but I really don't know if I can handle the weather anywhere else...I'm a delicate rose damn it! LOL
Ernie is my hubby BTW. His name is Ernesto but that's a little too much MACHISMO for me. :-P
@lilbun915 mostly family. My friends accept and respect my choices. I think family just feels they can always tell you what to do whether it is disrespectful or not.
