How far along do you have to be to be able to see your babies heart beat thru vaginal ultra sound?

I saw mine through a reg ultrasound at 7weeks 3days they thought they would have tho dont that exam but I lucked out

Let me claify I didnt hear it they could just measure the beats with the machine

Oh okay cuz I know it takes longer to actualy be able to hear the hearbeat but I know you can see it sooner so I was just wondering how soon. I'm around 5weeks and have my first app feb 23 and was wondering if I would be able to see it

I've only been pregnant once and miscarried before I even got to see a heart beat

I'm in the same boat still in my 1st trimester with my 1st child I'm only 9wks so im sure by 12
