constipation

My two week old has a constipation issue. Anyone know how I can help her?

  • @lil_buggie_3 oh yea lots of wet diapers. She has lots of gas also. I have ibs and I'm worried about her getting it

  • I don't have kids yet so not completely sure but my doc said something about working there legs would help them go, maybe Google it

    I have tried the legs and massage and I did hip rotation also so I hope that works
  • I had the same problem they eventually switched his formula & he still has bad gas so I got yhe mylicon but,my dr also yold me to give him 2oz of water when he was first constipated
  • Try gettin gas drops they worked wonders my daughter had it so bad tryd changim formula made it worse dr tld me gas drops gave her a dose 20minz later nice soft poo her tummy went frm rocc hard to sift instantly n u xan use them up 2 4 times a day if necessary hope ur bby gurl feels btr
  • My daughter had the same issue at couple wks old an Wat I did was wait till I c her tryin to poo I wuld lay her in front of me an hold her her knees an push her legs up an she culd squeeze it out really worked.
  • Well we gave her water and she pooped 6 times in a couple of hours. Now I know her body.
  • My newborn hasn't pooped in 3 days. She finally pooped this evening. Dr said its ok as long as she's still passing gas and are not having any tenderness or pain with straining. Newborns just go through these periods from time to time
