bras....

edited May 2011 in Pregnant
I'm usually a 36D, no idea what size I am now, but none of my bras are comfortable. I bought some XL sports bras, those are the only things that sounded comfortable. Does anyone have any bra suggestions for me?? I still have 6 more months to go so I'm guessing I'm gonna need to buy some more with a little more support.

  • Try the sport bras that have the cups in them..

Im no help, sorry. lol I only bought a bigger size, and need a bigger size again.
  • Im a 40 C from a 36B so im not very big, but I got a nursing bra after going through many uncomfortable bras. Its so comfy and it has a bit more support than a sports bra :)
  • @tinkergal I've definitely been wanting to try nursing bras.. but I feel like its almost too early. Like right now I don't even feel very pregnant so I would feel weird buying a nursing bra. If that makes sense. But I guess I don't have many options :/
  • I was a 38d and now I'm a 38ddd, the brand I like best is bali with the full coverage. I used to wear one with concealing petals, but what works best now is cups w/o foam but just the fabric. I got mine at jcp they have a buy one get one 50%off right now check out jcp.com the one I wear now is bali style 3385.
  • Im at 26 weeks and I bought one 2 weeks ago. I sleep much better. I don't think it matters how prego you are, mama's gotta be comfy.
  • @Little1Cashew thank you so much! i'll go look there this weekend :)
  • Check out LeMystere bras at herroom.com. They're awesome and super supportive. About $70 and worth every penny.
  • @blueberrysmom ahhhh that's expensive!! not sure if i have enough money for that haha

  • I work at VS n there is a bra called "the incredible" super comfy and super supportive. The wings in the back come up higher so its very supportive and the clasps in the back are flat and it has gel cushion around the underwire so u can't feel it and it has self adjustable straps that extend on their own as u get bigger! If ur willing to spend the $ I say its worth it. I believe its $45. But find a friend w a coupon for $10 off any bra which go out alllllll the time n keep sum money in ur pocket :) also they will give u a bra fitting n get u measured correctly.
  • @mybabyuno thanks! i'm visiting my mom this weekend, and she always has victorias secret coupons and stuff. maybe she'll even buy it for me haha.
  • @raceylacey Yesss bc "the baby needs it" right?! I love it how mama's still love to give to their children. But yea definitely go check it out n hav them give u a bra measurement. Don't go in wearing a sports or push up bra bc they will throw the measurement off. You'll seriously fall in love w the bra bc its sooooo comfy and its still cute n comes in fun colors too :)
  • @mybabyuno I think I may have that bra..its got underwire but you can't feel it at all and its not quite padded but thick. Makes my 'girls' look amazing lol got it waaay before I was pregnant and it still fits.
  • @mybabyuno thats another problem with maternity/nursing bras.. they're not very cute! and the straps are so thick, they look really bad with cute tank tops. i'll get some ugly super comfy bras, but i'll definitely get that vs one!
  • @mrs_shu yea that's prob it. It actually has gel wrapped around the wire so u dnt feel it! And yea it has the self adjusting straps to fit u even as u grow, I love it!
  • @raceylacey yess girl its cute n has cool colors or even if u get it in nude its still sexy/cute bc it has a satiny sheer shimmer :) plus it comes in racerback, demi/full coverage, push up, or multiway. Glad I could help!
