Went to the er this morning :(

I was in SEVERE pain and I tried to stick it out so I could just go to my ob. But I woke up at 3 in the morning screaming in pain! My hubby thought it might be my appendix so off we go to the ER. Turns out I have a kidney infection and kidney stones omg. In so much pain still!


And on a side note, the doctor gave me a perscription for antibiotics and loratab for pain. Loratab is a narcotic? Wtf? My hubby said that his friends on high school take this when they didnt have weed, it has the same affect.

So why is this percribed for pain? Does this doc think im crazy? Lol

I honestly would say don't take loratab, I was prescribed it when I totaled my car it doesn't relieve pain just makes you high. You would have better luck with tylenol than that.

Loratabs is a pain medicine which is a narcotic but some docs say its safe during pregnancy

Loratabs and percocet are considered ok to take when pregnant because they contain more tylonol then actual painkillers. I was in the same boat as you only the kidney stones were blocing my kidneys so I had to have stents put in to be able to function properly... I was prescribed percocets while I was in the hospital as well as antibiotics. As long as you take the recommended dose it will be fine.
