Wtf??? This is so weird I'm carving ajax. I'm not going to eat it but I'm really craving it. Maybe I'll clean the tub to smell it. Am I the alone with these crazy cravings???

  • Weird... O_o
    Lol
  • You need to tell your doc immediately... You could have a serious vitamin deficiency.

  • @1_mama_squared really??? That's scary I'm just curious how does that relate??
  • Its actually a medical condition called pica. Women with pica usually crave things like rocks or laundry soap, but its classified by a craving for anything without nutritional content. If you tell the doctor, theyll do some monitoring to determine whether they need to alter your vitamin regimen or if its related to stress.

  • @1_mama_squared is correct, I can't recall the proper term due to babt brain. But whenever you crave something out of the ordinary, dirt, bleach, ditergent and so on you need to tell your doctor. Your body is lacking something it really needs and the doctor can figure out what and give you the proper suppliment

  • It's called pica, and you need to tell your doctor ASAP. Its thought that its caused by vitamin or mineral deficiency, mainly iron I believe.
  • I thought you were talking about apple jacks...hahaha.
  • Now thinking of it at my last visit my mw told me I was border line anemic but she forgot to give me iron pills and I remembered when I was already home. I have an appointment next week so I'll def bring iy up to her.
  • Thanks for the info ladies I really appreciate it!!
  • My bf's sister had a craving like that when she was preggo. She would actually eat it. She said it didn't make her sick while pregnant but when she tried it after she got sick. I knew it was caused by some type of dificiency, I just didn't know what it was called.
  • @mommys1stbundle that's nuts idk how someone could actually eat it, its toxic. I'd be scared for the baby.
  • @rachdb Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I can't remember if it was specifically Ajax but it was definitely something along those lines that's not meant to be digested. I've also heard of dirt.

I saw a show where a lady was addicted to eatting sofa cushions. Off topic but it just goes to show that we never know what our bodies will digest.
  • @mommys1stbundle omg eewww that's gross who does that??
