is it ok to get relaxers while pregnant?

Hi, Im due June 8th, Im 20 weeks and I get mixed answers on this question. Can I relax my hair while pregnant? People I know that have been pregnant were told not to, but did anyway and when their babies were born, they were healthy. So is this ok or not, I still dont know, cause the doctors say one thing, but peoples' experiences say different?

right thats how I feel I aint had a relaxer in years I went natural but now Im tired of managing this I need something easy, time to go back to straight. lol

I had twist was starting dreads but got tired of em and combed them out, I regret it now, I would start over but the process is sooo long.

You can do it. But fumes are not good. Just try to keep well ventilated. And don't do it often. One of the things is your hair reacts diff when your preg. But no one knows how much of the fumes it takes to hurt the baby. We just know they are toxic and your baby is developing and has no defenses
