polyhydramnios any1 else?

I had an ultrasound Tuesday and they said my fluid is measuring high so i have another u/s Monday to make sure its not increasing to fast..My first baby had Anencephaly and couldnt swallow fluid so i developed extreme poly with her,my 2nd pregnancy was perfect,and now im pregnant again and have had more complications than ever!!I just dont understand what could cause this baby to develope poly bc we know she is growing and swallowing..my doctor didnt wana give me any bad news for me to worry about before we decide if it is bad or not.Im just curious if anyone carrying a healthy child has had this and why?I read it could be caused from Kidney,Bowel,or Urinary Tract problems and im afraid I may have caused it by drinking Redbulls before i found out i was pregnant..

    Had this with my first pregnancy. Specialist said they sometimes can't tell what causes it. They just have to watch the pressure on the baby. He came at 35 1/2 weeks (was also 7 lbs 5 oz) and had had no health problems... Two normal pregnancies afret that. Good luck to you....

    @Bethybaby Oh thankyou! That gives me some peace of mind :) i wouldnt mind her coming early as long as she is healthy and so far everything looks great with her,im almost 31wks and she weighs an estimated 3lb4oz as of last tuessday.im just scared i may have caused it and i have a friend who suddenly lost her baby around 5months bc of poly and that scares me.
    Oh wow he could have been a big baby if you had carried to term!!my son was born 2wks early and weighed 8lb3oz

    Well the specialist did also say that poly babies can be bigger (don't know why) Just make sure they keep a eye on it, it was a bit of a pain to schedule, but they made me have weekly ultrasounds to keep an eye on it. Freaked me out at the time cause it was my first pregnancy.

    Well im okay with weekly ultrasounds i live about 30-45 from the hospital but its worth the drive to make sure she is okay..like now the only thing that scares me is if they decide its fine Monday and dont see me back for a couple weeks and it be bad when i go back.but im going to be sure to discuss all that with my doctor.i am trying not to worry to much but its so hard not to worry!

    Try not to worry, the fluid levels can change real quick too. Its possible you may be normal or worse at next visit. Very frustrating, but it can go away all together too (then have you wondering if it will come back) Would def have them check more than just once every couple weeks, especially if it helps ease your mind. There is nothing worse than a stressed prego lady!

    Yea....what I wouldn't do to avoid the summer and the heat......uggggggh!

    Yes!!! My 1st daughter was born in October 07' my son was Sept08' and now this baby is due in July it never fails for me to go through summer with everyone! If i had of carried the last baby instead of it ending in mc i would have been due last month :) when are you due?

    This one is due in august... Other three were all winter/ fall babies. Nov, jan and feb. First summer one, and I'm dreading it!

    Oh you were lucky!! Haha good luck with this one i know July and August were the worst months for me with my son!! i am trying to hold her in till Aug 2nd but thats def not gona happen so i wont push it :) I have decided to stay in the a.c through the rest of this pregnancy..funny thing is my unit quit working a few weeks ago :( but we bought a window unit to make due until ours is fixed so i have posted up in the living room!

    Just wanted to update that i had an u/s this morning..my fluid is still rising and they said its that my fluid is progressing but shes not growing at the right speed to accomodate with it so its buildng pressure around her..shes measuring in the 28th percentils and they said everything looks perfect as far as her organs and such..guess we will take it 1 week at a time and see how things go..only 9wks left maybe less :)
