!!!!Labour cookies whoa!!!!

I just made "jump start your labour cookies". They are so yummy but so spicy! Wow! Pretty sure they would be great with milk but I'm lactose intolerant. I'm going to finish baking them and then eat as many as I can lol. Update to follow!

I read an article about a bakery back east that sells labor cupcakes..they are lemon infused...they said they have women who swear by them!! Good luck I hope it works!

Lol thanks me too. I'm 37 weeks so I won't be too upset if they dont work, but I have read good reviews lol. Lemon infused cupcakes sound really good

I don't know if they work yet bc you swe supposed to eat them on an empty stomach and my stomach is FULL from graduation parties lol. I am going to eat a bunch before bed and then I will update @luvmyson and @Karla_with_a_k

@onemoreontheway the recipe does look the same! I'm 41 weeks today was due the 7 and have done everything but Castor oil.. I hope the cookies work.. lol maybe cause your starting them earlier it'll happen for you!

@babygeesmama2b I hope they work for you since you are overdue! I am too scared of castor oil too lol I could never drink it bleh. Let us know how the cookies work for you. I'm waiting until morning to eat a bunch bc my belly is full. I will update tmrw afternoon tho lol.

Does anyone kno the recipe for the cookies? Have they worked for anyone?

2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 t. baking soda
3/4 t. cinnamon
1 t. ground ginger
1/2 t. ground cloves
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. cayenne pepper
8 T. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. molasses
1/4 c. egg whites

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and spices and set aside. Cream the butter and sugars together. Add the molasses to the creamed butter, then add the egg whites until combined. Addd the dry ingredients slowly. Once incorporated, roll dough into 1 inch balls and place onto baking tray. Bake 8-10 minutes. Once cool eat as many as you can possibly stomach, lay down for a nap and wait for labor to begin!

i tried them but i think it was a little to early cause i was 35 weeks...i'm just so anxious to meet my baby girl. but they def made the baby go crazy in there lol. @mzarmstrong87 most reviews that i read people went to sleep and they woke up in labor or it happened shortly after they woke up the next day

Well I ate 7 good sized ones for breakfast on an empty stomach at 10 am and then sat around. I had a few contractions in the shower but nothing strong and nothing since then. I call it a fail. @a_wagner @mzarmstrong87 @fat_bob @luvmyson @sosmommy
