Trouble Breathing

edited May 2011 in Second Trimester
Anyone else experienceing this? I'm only 16w5d and I already get winded very easily. Also if I eat a large meal it is very difficult to breathe. To top it off I have had anxiety problems in the past and the breathing issue is bringing on the anxiety symptoms. Luckily I have been able to keep myself from going into a full blown panic attack, but I'm afraid it's only going to get worse as time goes on and I'm not sure how I'm going to handle it. Anyone else have trouble breathing this early? How bad does it get?

  • Seemed like really early.. I remember bein out of breathe at my first dr,appt. I was around 9 weeks
  • This is also my third baby
  • Vicks inhaler or a humidifier it does wonders! Its worked for me and prop up your head while laying down and place a pillow under your back. Hope this helps mamas :X
  • It doesn't get worse than ur feeling now in my opinion. When I first got out if breath easily, I was about 26 weeks. The simplest things like walking to the mail box or rolling off the bed to get up (cuz its nt like I can sit up anymore LOL) would get me winded. What I find easier for me is to literally TAKE UR TIME completing these tasks. It might take u 20 min jus to do a 5 min tasks bt who cares right :) as long as ur feeling better. Good luck with that hun, I hope u find some relief.
  • Yea I feel like that sometimes. Like I can't lay flat or its hard to breathe. I'm almost 24 weeks.
