Constant Headaches

edited February 2011 in Health
Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and I have noticed how helpful some of you are and I pray that someone can have some advice for me.

I am a first time mom-to-be and I'm 13w0d pregnant. I haven't been having any of the pregnancy symptoms that most women experience when they are as far as I am into their pregnancies, like constipation, nausea, morning sickness, cravings, etc. However, I get the most ridiculous headaches almost on a daily basis, usually in the early evening or right after I eat dinner. I am a healthy person overall, I exercise (though not as much as I did before I got pregnant) and maintain a healthy diet.

Is anyone experiencing thia or has in the past before? What could it be? I can't deal with this anymore, I feel like my eyes are going to pop out of my head.

All responses are highly appreciated.

  • My friend got headaches bad and went to the docs. They gave her these tablets that looked like little balls. She jst ave a few when she had a headache. THere totally natural so go to a natural medicine store and ask them about it but make sure you ask your doc if there safe first!!!
  • I have had some major headaches, mine where caused by high blood pressure. I would definitely ask ur doctor. Are u dizzy or feel like ur shaking at all?? I could be high blood pressure, definitely talk to ur dr!! Good luck I hope u feel better!!
  • Like mummy_to_be said talk to your doctor before taking anything. Every pregnancy is different and what might be fine for one person might be harmful towards another.

I had massive headaches this pregnancy I was told to take tylenol for it, when that didn't work well enough I was told to drink some soda or some caffeine tea. When they continued I was perscribed something.

You could also be suffering from a sinus infection/pressure, I was allowed to take tylenol sinus for mine.

    Hope you feel better.
  • Maybe it's something small like dehydration? You drinking plenty of water? I've been slacking on the water lately and its been giving me headaches.
