I haven't done it but my dad had too and you just pee in the jug each time you go, or may be easier to pee I a cup and pore into the jug.

I did a Urine test, but they were checking for protein ... maybe that's it

Idk and they yelled at me for not getting a million tests done when i wasn't even told about them

I've done it twice but its cause I'm diabetic and they checked it for protein and also said I had too much keytones in it as well

I did it bc they found a trace of protein in my urine. They made me pee in this hat thing that goes in the toilet and the nurse would pour it into the jug. After 24 hrs they test it and I had developed preeclampsia.

I have done about 80 on them in the last three years. You start with your first pee in the morning(but u don't save this one) you just use that as a starting time! You collect ur urine in the orange jug for a complete 24 hrs. Make sure u ask for a hat, it the thing u put on the toilet seat, it is so much easier to collect ur urine then trying to use a cup. Oh make sure u keep it on ice or the fridge! And if you pee alot ne ask for two jugs just in case!! They are easy unless u need to go to work or something.

I asked the dr why he was doing it. He wants to check my kidney function now so he has something to compare it to later if something happens
