Askng for induction?

How likley is it that my midwife will allow me to demand an induction date?

I found out yesterday that my fiance HAS to leave for work on May28th. There iis no way around it. Im due June first and we dont want him to miss it!

I am 38 weeks along now, and she actuallly had steroid shots for her lungs 8 weeks ago due to preterm labpr that they were able to stop.

Think theyll go through with it?

they might aye, my mum got induced because my dad had to.go.away n that was 20yrs ago

My midwife will only do it at 39 weeks but that is hospital policy here.

Im wondering if her having the steroid shots would give me a boost..
