uterus? help!

I had to go and get an ultrasound today! Excited about that but not the reason...at my appointment Wednesday my doctor told me my uterus was measuring on the small side and I had to go get an ultrasound to make sure my son was still growing and if he was measuring small then I had to go for a stress test twice a week...well my son is still growing at a steady rate...he is 6 pounds and freakishly tall lol...but my uterus has stopped growing...what does that mean? I'm so confused...

Never heard that before. Poor kid has no room. How far along are u?

35 weeks and 2 days according to my last period but 36 weeks and 2 days by ultrasound...doctor goes by last period cause the baby has odd measurements

@HomeBirthAdvocate thank you for answering...I didn't understand what it ment...the ultrasound tech said the baby looked great and everything but she only gave it a week before I had him so that made me think maybe something was up with my uterus not growing anymore or what...
