I'm planning to go natural and one of the very first questions I asked my OBGYN was "do you support natural birthing?" and I also asked "what is your c-section rate?". I want to feel supported in my decision to have a natural birth and do not want to be pressured into medications or a c-section. I've also communicated this to my husband who will be the only person in the room with me when we have the baby because I want him to comfort me and keep me strong. With this said, if my baby's health is at risk, than I will have an open mind as to what needs to be done. But, as my doctor has said, I'm young and healthy so she is not expecting complications with my birth plan at this time.
I'm planning on natural birth with a midwife. This is my first also.
For me personally, I hardly take tylenol for a headache so I can't fathom why I would pump up with drugs during delivery. Preparing for the pain is all I can do now lol
