  • I've heard it does make labor easier.
  • Not exactly true, but it does make vag birth easier if you do have a daily routine. Say about a 30 min brisk walk.
  • Yea I bearly started today walking 30 min a day is my goal lol.. n my bestie is right there to walk next to me which is a good thing
  • I only walked at the end cause I was sorta risk till I switched doctors. Honestly it didn't make a difference from my first.
  • I want to walk butt so scard to do any thing dnt want to lose my baby 18weeks 5days
  • I'm high risk that's why most of my pregnancy I was lazy n just slept n watchd tv.. but now I wana start walkn have something to do to get my mind off things
  • Roxy .... that's how I was before I got pregnant with my baby girl I had 2 mc so with this pregnancy I'm scared to do just bout anything.. I just gata think positive n take care of myself...
  • Walking helps with your stamina. But it depends. I'm a high risk pregnancy as well so I have to be careful and take it easy.
  • Yeah I heard that walking n staying a bit active will help with an easier labor. I am now 37wks 1 day and I continue to make myself walk..even if its something like a department store, grocery store, tredmil, or even just walking back n forth while my clothes are in the washer. Its getting close to summertime, so I try to get my bf to go on walks with me at a park or waterfront :) I'm hoping it pays off!
  • Same here hope it pays off n its less painful lol
  • I think it holds some truth. If your body is out of shape, meaning lack of muscle tone and staminia it makes sense that ur muscles wont be as efficient at getting baby out. My ex sis in law literally sat down all day everyday except to eat and she had a long labor/pushing, was out of oxygen and physically was barely able to push.her baby out. Baby wasnt even 6#.
  • Oooo guys,I try walking but I start sweating(its hot as hell) and I get tired so easily and breath hard.I try. Just try to walk.
  • Its going good so far. I walk around 8 wen the sun is going dwn so its not so hot... its my 2nd day walkn lol.. ugh do I get tird though.. knocks me out at the end of the day

  • I'm actually loving to walk helps keep my mind off the stress I been dealing with...
  • Yes my mom tells me the same thing and there is this lady who told me that she had a painful birth cuz she wasn't being active
  • Lol my mom says the same thing. Shes always saying old wives tells. I just research them and report back to her so she'll stop cause I do get tired of it.
