WIC and weight gain?

So I had a wic appt today and they said I was starving my baby! Im 16 weeks and they said I should have at least gained ten pounds by now and I've only gained 4... :( I have been eating like I always have.. Now I'm scared...

    Well if your ob isn't worried, I would say screw what wic thinks...lol

    Dont worry! I didnt put a single pound on until I was 20 weeks! My doc said that was perfectly okay! As long as your baby is growing normally you are fine! I cant believe the crap that WIC says to pregnant women! I am sorry!

    Starting 2nd tri you should gain a pound a week.hmmm...ok

    Don't listen to them! If your doctor says your weight is good than don't worry about. My doctor literally called the WIC people stupid.

    The wic also told me that my whole pregnancy and they had me taking some nutrition classes but my ob said i was fine so o wouldn't worry :) I also delivered a healthy little girl so I wasn't starving her

    Thanks ladies, I have a doctor appt in a week.. I feel a ton better now.
