my Motherhood tattoo!!!

I am so excited! For my birthday, my dad gave me the deposit money and offered to pay for my next tattoo: a mother hugging her baby! It will be an outline, with a few special additions. And before everybody chastises me, my appointment will be in October which is 4 months after my due date, due to my tattoo artist being hella popular. I go tomorrow for the consultation, I am so excited!

I had an appointment before I found out I was pregnant, I wanted a cover up and then one on my leg for my dad. So once baby gets here I got some tatts to get. Now he's a question, can you get tatts while breastfeeding?

@mschop I have a tattoo on my left outer calf for my dad!! I would think it would be fine while breastfeeding

@mschop yes its safe ive been resurching it for awhile cuz when my hubbie is home for leave were getting tats together for our lil one but anyways they say the ink is to big to travel throw your breastmilk, just make sure it doesn't get infected cuz then u would have issues

I can't wait for my birthday in January gonna get the mother daughter symbol with butterflys weeving in and around with different colors one butterfly for each of my siblings so 5 with there names, and I want to do my daughters name so how too

my midwife said it wouldnt pose a problem, also i am SUPER careful with tattoos and piercing because i am already paranoid about infection! also, i started another thread about this, fyi.
