Turning a transverse posterior baby

edited May 2011 in Third Trimester
Any advice on how to help this baby turn? We r both so uncomfortable, he pushes out in all directions. His bum sticks way out on one side and kicks me hard right un the belly button. I've been laying on my hands n knees for a half hour every night for a wk to no avail. I'm 32 wks.

  • Thanks @homebirthadvocate I will add it to my nightly hands n knees regiment. I know he would be more comfy too if he flipped the right way. I have a prenatal with my midwife tmrw and one last US to check on my placenta (partial previa but its getting better!) In 3 wks. I'll keep trying!

  • HE turned! Midwife confirmed what I was feeling, his head is down and almost in my pelvis. I'm sure he was laying on the right last night and this morning she felt him laying on the left. He can move from side to side all he wants as long as he's not stretching out sideways anymore! Hooray!

  • Thanks @homebirthadvocate I'm not ready for labor yet and neither is baby but I hope it goes relatively as planned.
  • You could check out www.spinningbabies.com or maybe it's .org and they may have some suggestions
