  • Baked ziti or
Saute cubed chicken, add alfredo sauce, and toss to cooked bowtie pasta, we add broccolli too. Kids luv this one too.

  • Most kids love beans & Franks. I use bushes grilling beans & ballpark hot dogs!!
  • I make homemade baked mac and cheese casserole. 1 box pasta, 16oz shredded sharp cheddar (i shred my own to save $), and about 2 cups milk. Partially cook pasta, mix in cheese, add milk.. bake at 375-400 until done!
  • @jaime77 those sound soooooooo good but hubby won't try it bc he said it sounds healthy....ugh
  • Lol..my kids luved hot dogs n mac but it gets old quick..
Can he grill meats? Marinate them, add side dishes like the packaged lipton noodles, or rice blends..applesauce
  • Chicken & rice, spaghetti, chili, enchiladas/tacos, chicken alfredo, tuna salad, hamburger helpers.

All quick, easy, one dish (well, two somtimes) meals. And there's always ways to sneak in veggies so that hubby and kids won't know they're there!
  • Tator tot casserole! I use 2lbs of hamburger, 2 cans french style green beans, 2 cans cream of mushroom & 1 package of tator tots. Cook the hamburger, drain then mix all the items in a bowl then put in a baking dish for 30-40mins @ 350
  • Manwitches! They have a full serving of veggis lol^ .^
  • I call it "Country Mac & Cheese"... loved by my 3yr old & my husband as well. Make homemade mac & cheese ( @maggie above gave a great recipe) then add 1lb of browned ground pork sausage, put in a baking dish and sprinkle with crushed plain potato chips before baking. Not the healthiest option ever, but pretty darn tasty!

  • go to winco and buy the pre-marinated Hormel pork loin, we like teriyaki and mesquite the best. toss 2 potatoes in the microwave for 5 mins each side, and open up a bag of veggie lover's salad! 30 mins for the meat, in which time you can easily prepare the rest, and a yummy dinner to boot! we also like to add craisins, croutons, and cubes of cheddar to the salad for the yum of it all.
