READ! my 4 year old!

So today my 4 year old daughter and my 3 year old son were swimming in my parents pool today and the arm wings popped since last year so they each had a floating ring...well my son slipped threw his and was drowning...my dad was working on the deck around the pool...well my 4 year old daughter swims her way over to my son and grabs him and is able to hold him up just enought to keep his head above water and then screamed for my dad...my dad had to dive into the pool and grab my son...my mom just told me and I wanted to cry from almost losing my son today but cause I was so proud of my daughter! I just thought I would share...

good for your daughter!! I get your dad was working around the pool, but he shouldve been close enough to hear/see him and check on them at all times.

Very smart little girl!!! She deserves a toy. Very impressive. I'm sorry about your son. Why wasn't there an adult in the pool with them?

They are both amazing swimmers...I taught them myself...and my dad I guess had his back turned and my son just went under quietly...its scary to think I was so close to losing my baby I am kinda upset with my dad cause he wasn't fully paying attention to them but more at my little sister because she was supposed to be helping my dad with them and she wasn't at all...

Thats very scary! Drownings the number one cause of death in children, thank god hes ok, thats very impressive of your daughter! honestly there should have been an adult in the pool not just near by, id be pissed at my parents if this happened to me, I think you should invest in some life vest for them, god bless you n ur lil ones
