contractions

I'm 29 weeks and have been having contractions for the last month and a half....I've been to the hospital because on top of it I started having a stabbing pain in my right side...which I had health problems dealing with my liver and ovaries on my right side before I got pregnant...the hospital just told me I was dehydrated....the contractions come and go and only hurt every once in a while but I was also told there is a chance ill be going into premature labor...its been a few days since I have had any but all of a sudden contractions have started again....so now I'm stuck in bed bored....waiting for a call from the other side of the world.....for an impatient daddy to call and talk to my belly.....

I had the same thing happen, my cervix even began dialating at 33 weeks and they thought for sure this baby would be preterm. I'm now 38 weeks andstill no baby so dont worry bout it.

I'm trying not to worry but with my husband away and a BIG move coming up and other people starting to put their unneed and unwanted opinions in on our relatiionship it doesn't help with the stress level

I had the same thing happen with my first. The right pain ended up being my gallbladder, I went into preterm labor 6 times all starting from 20 weeks 3 days. Each time they filled me with fluids and a couple times with a medicine to top the contractions, I can't quite remember the exact name of it though. My cervix stayed closed with lots and lots of water and bedrest. My daughter was born at 41 weeks 1 day a healthy 7lbs 9oz. Don't get too worked up over it, just keep pushing fluids, laying on left side helps a lot and if they come again, no shame in going to the hospital. Better safe than sorry if you get worried. Thank you....I've been in and out of the hospital due to stomach problems for the last 5 yrs...it took them about 3 yrs to finally tell me I had endometreosis and polycystic ovariane syndrome and told me I couldn't have kids...I've had 2 miscarriaages and now this one....a month before I found out I was pregnant they found my liver levels were off and that there were lesions and hyperdense areas on my liiver....

Possibly going to the hospital tonight or tomorrow....contractions haven't stopped and are starting to hurt on and off....still not to close together though.....this lite girl growing needs to be patient and wait just 8 more weeks at least rather then trying to come now

Im 24 weeks and I have experienced contractions as well they didnt hurt my uterus just hardened for a few minutes and I was fine talked to the doc they were just braxton hicks n normal, so def check with doc to be sure

I've been to the hospital for them.....they said as long as they don't hurt ill be good but when they get close together and start hurting try to rest and drink lots of water and if it doesn't help go to the hospital again
