Hi i was just wondering what every ones birth stories were, for those women who have gone through it already.
Mine:
i was induced at 38 weeks, my waters broke at 1.30 and instantly my contractions were 2 minutes about and very very intense and painful, after 15 minutes i was 5cm dilated and another 15 minutes i was fully dilated and pushing. had her at 3.53 with just gas and air. I suffered from 2 degree internal tear that was 6cm and going up. all in all in was quick but very very painful..

Hoping i have a quick birth! lol planning on gas and air and pethidine with a water birth and I'm going to ask about being cut rather then tearing

My contractions started Thursday night but I thought they were just bad BH. Realised at 6am they were the real thing so called my mum n me n bd got a cab to hers. By 12 oclock they were 4 mins apart so we went to hospital. By 2 oclock my contractions had stopped but my BP was so high they wouldn't let me go home. At 11.30pm they moved me up to a ward, by which point my contractions had started again and were 4 mins apart n extremely painful so they gave me gas n air. By 3am I was back in the delivery suite and asking for an epidural. I got the urge to push but they told me not to because my waters hadn't broken yet. Then all of a sudden water broke, I was pushing and he was out at 3.41am in 2 pushes. And then the guy turned up to give me the epidural. So I did it with just gas n air. No external tearing but had to have. Internal stitches. It was crazy and horrible and amazing all at the same time and my bd was amazing through every bit of it. Couldn't have done it without him. :-)

my water started leaking at 530am my husband was getting ready for work I had a gush n said I think my water broke he said no go to bed he lol it was my water went to the hospital about 7 (i had to get ready lol) I was at 3 I finally got to 4 at 5pm I got an epidural bout 6 not cuz I wanted to I couldnt feel my contractions I had a csection at 8 because I wouldnt dialate n had a ammonia the week before my eyes were so swollen I could barely c my son I cried all day cuz I didnt wana push 3-6-09 best bday present for bein a day early. My 2nd stayed in hospital 2days steroid shots she was 33weeks csection again I didnt feel no contractions water broke saturday I went in tuesday had her on a thursday I didnt know it was my water because I wasleakin for 2 weeks they said it was fine 2-17-11

it was 2 years ago but i remember like it was today, i was sleeping and i woke up with a pain and as soon as i got up i feel a little squirt of water, i though i peed my self so i checked to see what it was , lol it was our first baby so my husband freaked out and started to get ready to go to the hospital, we called my mom/dad and told them that labor might be soon, i remember telling him that i wanted to walk and he didnt let me .. he drove as fast as he could to the hospital since is 30 minutes away, we went to check in and they did an ultrasound and took my blood pressure, it was high so they made me stay in bed .. so i couldnt even walk , I wouldnt dialate after a few hours, they broke my water thinking that was going to help, a new nurse came in and started putting me in all different positions and that helped me dialate , then the pain started to get really bad, i asked for an epidural but they told me i wasnt dialated enough, i had to wait a while more then as soon as i got the epidural i went to sleep..i woke up an hour later with really bad pains.. i dont think the epidural did much.. it was time to push I pushed as hard as i could and the baby was coming out and getting pulled back by the umbillical cord wrapped around her neck, the doctor asked for a pump and she went about helping me (i was pushing for 1 hour before they decided to help me) -.- my daughter was born purple due to the oxygen been cut off by the cord, but she was healthy, 7 pounds 7 ounces and 19 cm long. My legs were still numb due to the epidural so they told me i couldnt go up to my room til i was able to walk ( even if they were pushing me with a wheel chair) so i got up 5 minutes later and and collapsed but my husband was there to catch me before i hit the floor.. went up to my room and got to be with my little Abigail.
