Is anyone going on implanon?

I thibnk this is my best bet for bc after I have adrian bc im horrible with remembering pills, the shot,makes u gain weight n I did wayy to much of that already! N I have heard bad things about mirena n nuva ring...what is everyone else using? :-?

    My sister has the implanon, but we think they did hers wrong.... she hasnt gained any weight, but after she got it she bled for like 2 months straight (no joke) and they said that was normal!? But everyone is different..

    What is implanon? @adriansmommy & @MommyofAngels I'm thinking more permanent but not reply sure about that either.. anyways is it a shot Or an iud?

    @soontohavethree They have a 3 year and a 5 year implanon and its this little bar the put in your arm using a needle. And it just stays there and can be removed at any time.

    Hmmm thank You @MommyofAngels that sounds much better then something permanent. I'm only 26 not quiet ready for forever 8->

    @soontohavethree Your Welcome :) I personally dont beleive in birth control, I guess mainly for the fact that I myself am a birth control and condom baby, and I know several others, so if its meant to be itll happen. :)

    The mirena is recommended for mothers who had given birth. I had one in and my body rejected it in a week. Went to the emergency room and got a infection... :( bit im going to try it again after my lil man arrives ...

    i had implanon, the 3 year one after i had my first. i as well am terrible with pills and i hate shots. its real easy to get put in and then taken out and you dont have to worry about a thing. i think i only got my period every 3 months and it lasted a day or two, paper cut type bleed...sooo light. it was the best i ever did and i would recommend it and do it again if i choose any bc. good luck.
