Dialated...... Anyone else? Or any stories leading up to labour

Im 37 weeks 1 day, my fourth child. I have never been dialated prior to labour. Does this mean my baby is comong soon. Anybody else have any experience with this. Would love to hear your stories and opinions. Im also being induced june 14 due to large baby

I was 2cm dialated for about 3 weeks before my water broke. Like ashleyfew said, dialation isn't really a reliable labor indicator unless you're in active labor . But since you're scheduled to be induced in a week and a half, I would say yes baby will come soon

@ashleyfew good to know my cervix was closed last week. So basically it just means I could have a shorter labour?

Yeah my mother slept with my husband in the small sofa when i had to give birth, i was in labor for a total of 26 hours, so they were both sitting down with their heads to the side sleeping xD lol i though it was so adorable since my husband can barely stand her.

dilating can mean u will go soon, or you could stay that way until you get induced.
with my first i was dilated 1cm@ 36 wks, 2 cm @ 37 wks and gave birth at exactly 38 wks.
with my son i dilated 2 cm @33 wks and from 35-39 wks i was dilated to 4cm!!!

Im 35 weeks 5 days and already at 3 cm and cirvixs is soft so im not allowed to do a lot. Doc wants baby in as long as possible lol
