Cold's while preggers?

For the past day and a half I have noticed , ive had a bit of a cough , a stuffy nose , scratchy throat and headache
I got worried because I dont know what effect having a cold can have on the baby. so its worrying me .. seeing as its the weekend I wont be able to get any answers from my doctor until monday . but does n e one have any suggestions on how to kick this cold . I dont think I can have any other medicine except tylenol .

Depending on how far along you are your doctor may approve you taking something else. You can also consult a pharmacist at a grocery store on medications that are safe. Pharmacists are extremely well versed in medicines and their effects.

I used a vaporizer to help me breathe and gargled warm salt water to soothe my throat. I was told cough drops were safe, but if you'r unsure, you can look for 'natural' type of cough drops at the drug store.
