Stitched up nd hurtsss

I had my baby the 31st and had sum tear :( I got stitched up and it hurts sooo bad to,pee! It burns so bad that I dread going to pee lol also im scared to poop lol but how long will I b bleeding for or how long til the stitches disolve and is there anything that,will help the burning feeling

    I forgot how long stiches take to dissolve I had my only tear nearly 16years ago. I usually bleed 6to8weeks after deliveries. Did you try the dermablast spray? It helped me alot!

    Stitches can take 10 days up to 6 weeks to dizzlove, it all depends hun. Make sure you're still cleaning yourself with warm water in a squirt bottle EVERY time after you use the bathroom, poop or pee. I also suggest the dermoplast spray, it works wonders and buy some which hazel pads, they help a lot for pain relief hun. Hope this helps :) as for the pooping, try a stool softener.

    The spray you can buy at walmart hun, its in a little blue can. Which hazel pads are little round wet pads, my hospital provides them for soothing but I think they are also available at walmart. They will help you a ton hun.

    Oh hun don't hold it! And if you have to strain, get a stool softener. Straining can pop your stitches.

    Witch hazel pads work so much better than tucks.

    Kegals help! I just had my son on the 25th and I was scared to pee and poop but the hazel pads feel sooo good OMG I'm still bleeding but its not as heavy from when I was in the hospital and its also I different color

    @mamidani Do the stitches hurt when you pee or does peeing hurt? I ended up with a uti about a week after he was born and peeing was horrible. You could also try buying witch hazel in a liquid form and use it in your peri bottle as well. It should be cooling and soothing to the stitches as well as everything else.

    when i had stitches it hurt like hell to pee so my midwife told me to drink lots of fluids as it dilutes the urine it helped me lots

    I guess it hurts the stitches and all I drink is water and it still burns

    Definitely get some dermaplast...it's a numbing spray and it's a life saver!! I had stitches too and I think it took about 2 weeks to really feel better.

    Dermaplast works great! So does the witch hazel pads, or you could use the bottle and dilute the witch hazel in a bottle with it. I hope you feel better sweetie!

    Ima try and get it tomorrow hopefully it helps til then ima still nt wna go pee lol it only burns for a few seconds bt jus the thought makes mi nt wna go lol

    Dermoplast works great! It is located on the first aid aisle:) and use warm water in a squirt bottle and take stool softeners.
