Baby Names

edited June 2011 in Pregnant
Ugh!
Hubby-to-Be and I have decided to name the baby after him but I really don't want a "Junior" or a "Second (II)"; the thought of someone calling my child junior makes me cringe. *Bleh*
So, I've been hitting the baby name books and looking cover to cover for something else to put as the baby's middle name. He will still carry his Daddy's first name but will have a middle name all of his own. I'm struggling to find anything that works, because Hubby-to-Be and I have already weeded through these names, more than once. We picked out what we like and none of those names are really working for me.

**** I need a middle name for Christopher! ****
Here's the fun part, though...the names that we can't have/definitely don't want:
Michael - we thought about this one, but there's too many in the family.
Elijah - his mom hates it and is going to FLIP if we use it.
Scott - that would make Monkey a Junior....NOT HAPPENING!!!
Lee - I lost my dad a few years ago; his name was Christopher Lee...don't think I could deal with it.

We don't want something really long or hard to pronounce; we want different, but not off the wall, like Apricot (which is the middle name of my best friend's 2 year old).

HELP!!!!!!!!! I'm losing my mind, here. It's really hard to find a suiting name when the family takes the naming as a joke and I get "I don't know" or a shrug when I ask how they like something....
