Making my son a big brother tee :)

edited June 2011 in Pregnant
For my baby shower on sat. Its going to say I'm the big brother. I would have bought it but no stores sell them in his size around me and I'm not paying an extra $15 for express delivery. I'm so excited about it, its going to be so cute!!!

  • Aww I'm totally gonna do that for ty he's so excited about being a big brother...his father had a child after him and he never sees him so he's happy he is going to be able to be a big brother all the time not just part time...we find out tomorrow if he has a little brother or sister (he wants a sister)
  • @stepherbell awwww that's awesome!! My son is super excited and wanted a sis too and that's what he's getting.. How old is he?
  • Great idea! Seems they only make big brothee/sister Ts for lil kids. My daughter is almost 11yrs old! No sizes for her. So I might just make my own like you did! & surprise her with it at the shower with some other items so she don't feel left out.

  • @rachdb - he is 7 =)..I'm so gald he got his sister...now he must be really excited (your son) congrats to big bro! You said you were making one for the baby too? Will hers say lil sister? Or what are you doing for that one?
  • I love this idea that is how we told everyone we were having a baby. I made my son a shirt that said big brother rock. On a plain black tee with white and a few silver letters. Even got some punk rock stars and a guitar patch to put on it turned out super cute. Its also how I posted it on fb lol. Make sure to post pic of your cutie in your creation and be very careful washing.

@one5one that's the prob I had the biggest size was small in kids and my son is 7 but wears a 12/14. I'm also getting him a couple of surprises for the shower too so he doesn't feel left out and letting him help me open presents...
@mommy2isaiahngiselle that's cute letting him decorate, I don't have the patience for that lol
@stepherbell mine is 7 too yes he is thanks. And hers says "little sister a.k.a. the star in training" in pink and purple letters I'm putting it on a plain onesie
