Back from the hospital!!!!

I was 35 weeks yesterday and had to be taken to hospital at 3 in the morning because i was having contractions, well they've given me steroid injections for his little lungs but they did a scan and said even though its 5 weeks till his due date they said he is weighing in about 5lbs 7oz already! so if i start going into full on labour they wont try to stop it. they've sent me home at the moment to get some rest but they said im almost 1cm dialted and my cervix is really soft wich is a very good sign also iv been losing my mucus plug in little lumps since yesterday so im all excited hopefully it wont be too long now!!!!! wish me luck, send me labour dust! x

@1stWoodsBaby and @littlenat86 thank you, its all getting really exciting now. but really scary at the same time, mum mum and fiance have been so supportive and wonderful to me, i havent seen my mum in 3month cos we live so far apart and wen i went into hospital yesterday she drove for 5hours to come see me, and en visiting hours were over in the hospital. her and my fiance went back to our flat and tidied the whole place up and brought all the stuff for the baby that we hadn't already got! i feel so lucky the only thing that would make it perfect atm would be if my little man decided to hurry up! x

@mummy_2_be19 aw thats wonderful your mum did that for you. Seems you have a great support system with her and your fiance.

Good luck girl!! Those steroid shots do wonders!! I was glad I got them. I had my son at 35w6d. He spent 3 days in the NICU to get an iv tok he learned to eat better but now 6 weeks later is a happy healthy baby.. he is doing great!

@mummy_2_be19 he was 6lbs 9oz which was a lb more than my ultrasound showed.

@Lauren0204Robert did u have ur scan at 35 weeks aswell? Iv been on the inflatable ball for an hour since i got bk from Hospital and im havin contractions but nt strong ones. Got any ideas on how to move things along? Did u do anything that helped? .x

@mummy_2_be19 yes I did. I ended up being induced but was having contractions before then due to walking around a couple days before I delivered.

I had my first at 34weeks and she is now 4 and you could never tell she was a preemie! You will be fine!
