Baby Shower Question..

How many people are throwing their own shower?

My sisters and mother are throwing me one as a surprise for family (both sides his and mine) and family friends...and my husband is throwing a surprise one for our friends.. We have a huge group of mutual friends and my family is big enough so I didn't feel right having my family pay for a huge shower that included my friends.

Yea my family is the same way with only one shower...This is our first baby.

im throwing my own but I do have ppl helping buy things im pretty much done getting gifts for games, got all my games, decoration n invites out, n party supplies spent about 600 including booking the park. now im just saving up for food.

I am having one in Iowa where I am from and my cousin is throwing that. but I live in Ohio and I am throwing my own here. My mom did not even offer. I have 2 sister's that live here also and they are pregnant too, so none of them are going to do it.....Everyone that lives here in Ohio is to preoccupied with my stupid sister's to care about throwing me a shower.....So I am throwing my own.
