contractions?

I've been having severe pain in my lower stomach when the baby gets hard and it's causing my back to hurt. He dropped three weeks ago, i've lost a bunch of mucus plug and the doc said my cervix has thinned. How long until i get contractions? This is killing me.

You are having braxton hicks but keep track sounds like u maybe on your way. Real contractions are the same but they are regular and get much more painful. I am 36 weeks too when is your due date?

Jnb I am due march 7 and having the same.....tons of irregular contractions and at my appointment last week I was 3 cm dilated and 70% effaced and I am still preggers....lol just hoping The real thing will happen soon so uncomfortable...
