So i have this pregnancy carpel tunnel.. but its to the point where i cant tell whwn things are hot or cold on my fingertips.. and it feels like my hnds have been soaked in orajel lol but it kinda worries me.. they ache so bad my whole arm hurts. I cant write, butter my own toast, nothing. When i hold metal, or something like ny phone or the remote my hand like sparks. And my fingertips are really hot al the time too, when i touch other people or my own upper rm its like very noticable.. my dr told me it was normal to have some tingling, and that i cnt do anything. But the aymptoms are so odd andextreme it scares me.

  • @mommy2isaiahngiselle yeah dont feel like she does either:( she told me to drjnk more water..Im 35 w 5 days.. and this is just horrible, idk how ill do it for four more weeks. I dont hve a reg doc cuz i didnt have insurance before i got oregnant.. i should probably find one huh lol
  • go to physio ultra sound theropy very effective all the best
  • It just sounds like really severe carpral tunnel. There isn't much that can be done for it, but it should subside after you give birth, if that helps. You can take vitamin B6 for it, if your OB okays it. And wear wrist braces, those help a lot. If it doesn't go away after birth, you might need to have surgery to correct it.
  • Awh shit what does your mucus plug like? Lol i think i may have lost some of mine just now.
@laura536 yeah thats what im afraid of:( im just grduating from cosmetology school too.. well ill just hope it goes away lol i just wish i didnt have to be so miserable! Lol i guess this is what i get for having such an easy early pregnancy lol
  • @kay_la_la I had the same thing with my my first 2 pregnancies.........it usually goes away after you deliver. With my first pregnancy it was soooooo bad (I was in cosmotology school too) I had to get cortisone shots in both of my wrist. Also I wore wristbands 24/7 and try to keep your wrist straight, that should help a lot!! Good luck:)
  • @kells32 yeah i heard about these splints things! Im gonna try those, i gotta do omethin! Lol cuz i couldnt shampoo my own hair this mornin! Pathetic lol
