Freddy krugeer got me **update, GRR*7

edited June 2011 in Pregnant
Ok not really, but my freaking belly looks like freddy came and scratched me- straigt outta nightmare on Elm street. And dang it they're ugly, itch so flipping bad and are uncomfortable. I've used various types of lotion (shea, cocoa, vitamin e) eaten more jello and drank plenty of h2o. And still got these. They showed up at 35 wks, only on my belly (I'm carrying all in front). Any reccomendations for the itchy feeling? Bio oil didnt help either. Oh and if ur a lucky bia, with no stretch marks Yay you, but please dont say to me "oh I'm so glad it didnt gappen to me!" Congrats, ur genes are good, mine suck.

Update****
I have freakin PUPPPS! Pregnancy dont like me.

  • I have horrendous ones from my oldest(13) and they're up really high amd "stretch" really far..they feel as if someone scooped out 2 or 3 layers of skin. Its really nasty :(
  • @mrs_shu I'm sorry :( but ur not alone :D mine are still red cuz they're new, but they're like rough :O
  • Lol my niece told me that stomach looked like that just the other day Haha and I've tried alot of stuff too nothing works and itching sucks it never stops!
  • I dunno about the itching, nothing seems to help mine either. I started putting cocoa butter on in the beginning but I got 3 tiny stretch marks near my navel and a few on my sides and thighs. Hopefully, after they're here I can get rid of them. :(
  • @kandc1015 :( so no relief for us... Darn even baths dont help me. How much longer do u have to go?

@deni_b I'm reading reviews for miracle creams for after :p I'ma try merderma I think
  • LOL yeah that's what I'm thinking of trying. Isn't that the one that advertises for AFTER you give birth?
  • @Seifer12211 I hate baths but I tried for the oatmeal bath for itching it did nothing.... I have 10 weeks left I can't wait!

  • @deni_b yep after, if ur still on here I'll post how it works in like 4 wks- since my lil girl will be here on june 24 :)

@kandc1015 I read online theres this prescription for stretch marks if they're still red, and it supposibly helps with itching, but it has some side effects for pregnancy and nursing. It starts with a T.
  • @gatorbob really thanks! I def think I'll be using that ASAP after shes here. And my wound is better
  • Cool! Yeah, I'm not due until Mid August/September so I'll be around for a while at least.
  • The lavender baby lotion takes the itch out of mine at least! My brother in law calls me "seaweed" cause of how insane mine formed. They literally start in a straight line at the bottom of my tummy, and branch llike red seaweed up to the sides of my belly button. I HATE them!!!

  • @mrsstanley_x2 I know what you mean, such ugly devilish lines :-?? I'll have to try the lavender baby lotion if it helps

@gatorbob the T name I read about :) ur soo smart, and I doubt I'll get another prescription, I dont like taking mine now. I'm on some kinda heartburn meds, and I have vicodin but am too scared to take it.
