His bird died today. The bird I take care of. He ran off into our room and hid under the covers to cry. Friday when we lost our little one, he left me home alone to go hang out with friends. Idk what's going on
I'm sorry to hear you lost your little one. it seems strange but everyone grieves differently. The bird dying may have been the trigger to his true loss.
I agree with @menemami. Maybe he was blocking his loss by going out with his friends but the bird dying brought death back to the forefront and forced him to let his emotions out. I'm so sorry for your loss. This is a time when the two of you should be comforting each other.
Guys r werid showing their feelings I know when I miscarried my bf was extremely quite n left me alone bc. I was heart broken n a emotional wreck n they just don't do good with them situations
