Best baby monitor?

So I made my registry at baby's r us. And I was wondering from experienced moms what brand of monitor you ladies suggest? I'm reading horrible reviews about the one we registered for. Help!!

    Yea we saw that one there but we are just concerned with sound and that it works well. Those are a little much.

    I agree that the angelcare is amazing! Its great piece of mind...knowing they are breathing good too!! The angelcare is sound and breathing/ movement! Its$ 99.00!!
